On November 2 2017, Singapore Airlines launched a new interior of its Airbus A380 aircraft, which has a fleet of 17 units. What has whispered in the past has become a reality. The concept of the seat and the separate bed was introduced by Lufthansa earlier in its Boeing 747-400. With Lufthansa’s decision to reduce the number of first-class aircraft by 25%, this configuration first came to Boeing 747-400. For several years, the similar concept of the Etihad Airline has been called The Apartment.
So what’s the first class from Singapore Airlines? Unlike the configuration at Etihad, it combines two consecutive locations to create a closed cabin consisting of 2 seats and one double bed.
