On November 3, 2016, at the airport of Bratislava, the word “Heavy” was marked.
In the morning, Boeing 747 flew to Air Cargo Global (OM-ACG), which, after loading the cargo departed.
The second “Heavy” day was Antonov An-124 Ruslan, Volga-Dnepr, with registration RA-82042. It landed in Bratislava 12:29 LT after completing the flight OMDW (Al Maktoum International Airport) – LZIB (M.R. Štefánik). It got three Mil Mi-8 helicopters that went to Trencin for general overhaul.
Ruslan spent the night in Bratislava and flew on 4th of November at 10:45 LT to East Midlands in the UK.
The arrival and departure of Ruslan is always something extraordinary and wonderful. And in the near future he should show up again in Bratislava 🙂
