The love of the Chinese for the pandas has reached a new level. Since December 1, Sichuan Airlines has launched the new Airbus A350 B-301D Panda-Chengdu Line with Panda-inspired paintings.

Pandas are really almost everywhere. From refreshment to crew. Sichuan Airlines connects pandas all the way. Upon arrival at Chengdu Airport, passengers are handed over to a check-in employees decorated with plush pandas. During the trip to the departure gate, passengers can visit the “panda” lounge with pandas-shaped pillows. Airline employees wear panda suits.
Refreshment on a 2.5 hour flight is also panda themed.
Sichuan Airlines headquarters is located in Chengdu, Sechuan Province. The province is considered home of pandas. In 2016, Sichuan Airlines introduced the concept of the “Panda Route”. On this occasion, the airline adopted a panda with the nickname “You You” in July, which has just become the ambassador of the Panda Road and also appeared as an illustration on the Airbus A350. For the coming year, Sichuan Airlines plans to add the first international destination – Boston.
Sichuan Airlines has a fleet of 146 Airbus. From Airbus A319, via A321neo to A350-900. The airline has also ordered 20 pieces of Comac C919 Chinese aircraft, the first of which will be put into commercial operation in 2021.
